SMS Account Alerts — Program Details & Consent

What this program is

5th Element Digital sends SMS account-alert notifications to staff of the client businesses we serve (e.g. HD Flooring, AlexTheLocksmith). These are one-way, account-related messages — for example, notifying a business's staff when a new lead is submitted through their website, or when a shared demo link is opened. These are not marketing or promotional messages, and recipients are internal business staff, not the general public.

Message frequency

Up to approximately 1 message per day per recipient, varying with account activity — a message is only sent when a relevant event occurs on that business's account.

Reply HELP for assistance, or email jason@5thelementdigital.com. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of these alerts.

How consent is obtained

Phone numbers are not collected from public forms or third parties. During onboarding, a 5th Element Digital team member verbally confirms the following script with each client-business contact before enrolling their number:

5th Element Digital:"As part of our service we can send you automated account alert text messages regarding your business's account activity — for example, when a new lead is submitted or a shared demo is viewed. We will send up to approximately 1 message per day, only when a relevant event occurs. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile phone service plan. At any time you can get more help by replying HELP to these texts, or you can opt out completely by replying STOP. Terms of Service are available at https://www.5thelementdigital.com/terms and our Privacy Policy can be found at https://www.5thelementdigital.com/privacy. Please reply with 'yes' or 'no' to indicate if you would like this service."

Client-business contact: "Yes please."

5th Element Digital: "Great! We will send you a text message to confirm your enrollment here shortly."

We only enroll a number after receiving an affirmative "yes." Enrollment is then confirmed with a one-time text: "You're now subscribed to 5th Element Digital account alerts. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help."
