A 12-Month HVAC Marketing Calendar

September 5, 20261 min read

HVAC demand follows weather, but marketing cannot wait for the first extreme day. Pages need time to be discovered, campaigns need working tracking, and maintenance customers need to hear from the company before the schedule is full. A useful annual calendar works backward from local heating and cooling seasons instead of publishing the same message every month.

Winter: serve no-heat demand and document the work

Keep furnace, heat-pump, emergency, and safety information current. Record the questions dispatch hears, the repairs technicians encounter, and the reasons systems could or could not be fixed. Those notes become stronger spring content than generic predictions written without field evidence.

Spring: create capacity before cooling season

Promote tune-ups and maintenance plans before the first heat wave. Refresh AC repair and replacement pages, test every form and call path, review financing and rebate language, and publish cooling guides early enough to be indexed. Ask recent customers for reviews while the service experience is still specific.

Summer: protect conversion under pressure

Update availability and after-hours expectations honestly. Make the request path fast on a phone and collect system type, symptoms, location, and timing. Track qualified calls, booked diagnostics, replacement consultations, and missed-call recovery rather than celebrating a traffic spike the team cannot serve.

Fall: build the next recurring cycle

Shift attention to heating tune-ups, indoor air quality, and replacement planning. Review which pages created booked work, update case studies, and use completed installs to explain sizing, comfort problems, and commissioning. The calendar should repeat, but the evidence and answers should become better each year.
