They charge for each person. We do not.
Jobber's Core plan covers one user and each extra person is another $29 a month, so a five-person crew pays five times the headline. Housecall Pro caps each plan instead: Basic is one user, Essentials is up to five, MAX is up to eight, and you move up a plan to add the next person. Core is one price for everyone in your business, and it does not change in July when you take on summer help.
They keep the money. We give it back.
Jobber's terms say fees are non-refundable, with no refunds for months unused. Cancel an annual Jobber plan part-way through and you keep access until the term ends, but the payment does not come back. Cancel their monthly plan with a one-year commitment and you are billed to the end of the twelve months anyway. Ours is the opposite: cancel whenever you want and we refund the months you did not use. The $299 onboarding you already received is not charged back either.
They give you a website builder. We give you a website.
Jobber includes a website builder free on every plan, and it is a real one: lead capture, Google Business Profile, booking. The difference is who does the work. Theirs is a tool you use. Ours is a person: they build the site, load your services and rates, install the inquiry form, train the front desk on your business, and test it before you go live, inside 24 hours. That is the $299 onboarding, and it is included when you pay for the year.
